2. General Information About Travel

If you are a traveler, you must be aware and equipped with an understanding of the legal requirements when you leave to travel somewhere. It includes that you have to take your passport, Visa, other documents, and health certificates. The responsibility for having this all with yourself and following with all of these like Passport, Visa, health certificates, and many other requirements must remain with you.

Ensure to go through the Additional terms and conditions posed by the Third-party travel service provider revolving around the services listed on our portal. Also, take care of the terms and conditions of the airline you booked. These terms and conditions are listed on the website of that particular airline, and hence, you need to pay a visit to the website of that Specific airline. Moreover, after you take the services or purchase any product, you already agree with the additional terms and conditions of the airlines. These are about payment, check-in time, baggage, cancelation, charges, payments, use of fares, the applicability of fares, and usage of the products or services.

Suppose your flight booking consists of the flights regulated by many airlines; then you need to read the terms and conditions of all the airlines whose flights are in your booking. These terms and conditions are available on the website of each of those airlines. Every airline has its terms & conditions, rules, and fees. Suppose one of the flights is impacted by any of the changes that, in turn, leads to the alteration in another flight in the itinerary. In that case, the passenger becomes responsible for paying the amount to make the changes in that flight according to that airline's policy. Each airline has the right to levy its charges as per its policies. They offer a refund as per their rules as well. You all need to follow or limit yourself under the conditions laid down by every airline. It is highly suggested that all of you have a hard copy of your tickets on both sides. Sometimes, it may be the case that they ask you for the returning ticket at the check-in point as well. So, to save you from any issues, MyTripsTime allows you to book the flight for both sides simultaneously instead of booking one way.

Combined one-way tickets are far better than the round trip ticket in the prior one; you can find a range of multiple choices of flights. You can find cheaper flights and add the same airlines' second-way flights to your itinerary. But in the case of a round trip, you need to follow the rules and regulations for each side of the flight individually. Many instances occur when some change in the first flight will become the reason for changing in the second flight. In such cases, you need to submit the fees per the airlines' rules for making the alterations.

In certain scenarios, the cost of the flight of some low-cost carrier has been brought up by translating it into your currency from the normal currency that the airlines follow. Due to this, when you pay with your credit card, the amount seems to differ because of currency fluctuations. After you see the total layout of the payment, you can find that some transaction charges get applied along with the taxes for making an International purchase.

According to Federal Laws, you are prohibited from carrying any hazardous materials with you or in your baggage. If you did this even after the warning, then as a penalty, you need to pay $250,000 or more, and apart from this, you can also receive imprisonment of about 5 years. Hazardous materials comprise explosives, flammable liquids, compressed gases and solids, oxidizers, poisons, corrosives, and radioactive materials. Examples: Paints, fireworks, tear gases, oxygen bottles, lighter fluid, and radiopharmaceuticals. For some materials related to Medicinal or toilet purposes, a special allowance of 70 ounces total is permitted. In addition to this, you can carry certain smoking material with you as well.

3. Brief About International Travel

In the matter of wandering Internationally, you are advised to be aware of the Montreal Convention and Warsaw Convention as they might also apply to your journey. Not entirely, but some portions, particularly at the place of departure or destination. The conventions, in most cases, restrict the airlines' liability to passengers in case of any type of injury or death.

All the passengers must take care of the fact that they are entertaining every foreign entry requirement. These requirements are not limited to the passport or visas, but other terms exist. We are requested that everyone thinking of putting their steps in the land of any random International destination go through with the advisories, rules, warnings, prohibitions, and announcements passed by the government or authorities of that place.

  • Passport and Visa – if you are a traveler, you should understand that you must double-check the passport and Visa with the relevant embassy before your trip. You should make sure that you have a valid visa on your passport, as it is a fact that MyTripsTime.com will not become answerable for the situation when you don’t have valid documents yourself.
  • It is also possible that the requirements get changed, so check for the requirements before booking and even before departure. We are not responsible for helping you when you get refused entry into any country due to the lack of proper documents like a passport, Visa, or other travel or health-related documents. It happens as per the airline's wish that what type of documents they want for all the customers to have with them while traveling. To show these documents at every layover place or even at every stop the flight takes.
  • Health – All health-related items may frequently change, so meeting with your doctor before the flight's departure is recommended. Suppose you are a patient suffering from a serious disease. In that case, you should come on the plane by taking apt medication and vaccines and following all the guidelines as mentioned by your doctor.
  • Practise of Disinsection – It is not a common act, but some countries hold the right to disinsect their flights, mostly at the time of any threat directly to the health of the masses, agriculture, and the environment. Both, i.e., The World Health Organization and International Civil Aviation Organization approve two disinsecting procedures. These are as follows:
    • Spraying of the aerosolized insecticide while the passenger is on-board.
    • Implement the residual insecticide on the interiors of the airplane when passengers are not on board.

All the airports of separate destinations have rules and conditions that may get entertained, like entry rules, vaccination, etc. These rules also get altered based on the passenger's nationality. You should ensure that you receive this information before your journey to prevent the emergence of any of the incidents that may come into existence because there is no availability of the documents. Rules wouldn’t get entertained as well. A rule is also present for all minors that they must present their birth certificate. The accountability and responsibility to reach this information depend on you.

MyTripsTime.com OFFERING RESERVATIONS OR FLIGHTS TO A LARGE NUMBER OF INTERNATIONAL DESTINATIONS, IT DOESN’T MEAN THAT WE ARE GIVING THE ASSURANCE THAT TRAVELING TO THAT PARTICULAR PLACE REMAINS SAFE AND WITHOUT ANY PROBLEM. AND WE ALSO DIDN’T SAY THAT THERE WOULDN’T HAPPEN ANY TYPE OF SCENARIO OF DAMAGE OR LOSS BY TRAVELING TO SUCH DESTINATIONS AS WELL.

4. General Account of Baggage Policy

Each carrier has its policies regarding baggage allowances, fees, and policies, and these policies differ from each airline to airline. Every airline has the right to make any policy changes at any time. We try our best to showcase the latest information about the baggage policy on our policy. Still, we can’t promise they are the latest as the airlines regularly make policy alterations without any notification. Remember that the baggage fee is not included in the cost of your ticket as it is separated from that amount.

5. General Account of Schedule Change

Flight schedule modification can happen without prior notice, including situations like cancelation, delay, and halt sometimes. The change in the flight schedule happens due to several reasons like bad weather, technical fault, mechanical one, or crew issues. All of this can happen anytime, even after check-in both ways, i.e., online and offline. Schedule changes include changing a flight from a direct non-stop flight to a connecting or multiple layover flight. Please understand that every type of schedule change arises out of the airlines directly.

6. Cancelation of Flight Without Refund

MyTripsTime ensures that the lowest prices are available on their flight platform. Besides this, canceling tickets and replacing them for a future flight is subject to several limitations or additional costs. If you are going to exchange the flight, you must pay more than the original price you already paid for the previous flight. In this scenario, the choices are also fewer due to the limitations posed by the airlines. All of the prime restrictions and limitations are as follows:

  • All the fares carry the eligibility to get rebooked in the future, but due to limitations of that particular fare type or class, it couldn’t happen at all.
  • The original cost you paid is non-refundable and non-transferable from one passenger to another.
  • There is a restriction that you can rebook the ticket with the same destination and departure place as highlighted in the original ticket.
  • If the amount of your new flight is greater than the previous one, you have to pay that difference in cash. But if the price of the new flight is less than the original one, then you may lose that remaining money per the airline policy.
  • Everyone only has the right to book a new ticket with the airlines where they had their original ticket.
  • The previous ticket you bought must have the layout of fare and taxes in their cost. Consequently, it will stay limited to those portions only when you are applying for the new ticket.
  • The new booking date of the flight or the travel date of your trip must fall within the validity period of the airline. It is different for every airline; for some, it is 12 months, and for others, it is 24 months. It is dependent on the airline's policy laid down by the airlines as per their need.

Due to any reason, airlines hold the right to cancel the fixed departure of the flight. In this case, you also risk losing all the amount of your previous ticket. You must rebook your ticket for the new flight through MyTripsTime. You can complete this process by contacting any of the customer care executives of MyTripsTime.

7. Changes, Cancelations, & Refunds

All flight bookings are non-refundable until & unless some airlines state it specifically in your order. The airlines' policies predict your chances to cancel, change, book, and refund. If you have any specific problem, contact us, as we will assist you in this process. As a travel service provider, we hold many years' of experience in the same niche.

When you have a booking of an airline ticket, no matter if your travel ticket is non-refundable, then:

  • You can become the person to receive the full amount of your ticket as a refund. But you need to cancel the booking within 24 hours of the booking time. However, if any airline permits this type of cancelation, then fees as per the policy get applied.
  • Many scenarios happened when the airlines didn’t refund the number of canceled tickets; rather, they passed forward it to add in the amount of the future ticket purchase by the same person in the same airline.
  • Alteration in Name: Remember one thing changing names in the booking after making it complete is not allowed. If you think there is a need to change or correct the spelling of the name, then you have to go with canceling your original booking. First, check if the airlines granted this; if yes, proceed further and make the new booking with the correct name. Hence, it becomes crucial that you take care of the spelling of the name mentioned on the flight ticket. Ensure you check it twice before proceeding further to complete the booking.

Whether the request for the refund gets passed or not is resides in the hand of the Travel service provider and based on the regulations of the purchased tickets. If the refund request gets passed, then we (MyTripsTime) don’t know the timeline under which the refund gets processed in your account.

In the scenario of the refund when any type of fees that airlines received related to a booking or anything else are not refunded in any way. Settle this thing in your mind that we are dependent on the travel service provider for the refund. If the request you initiated gets passed by the airlines or travel service provider, you must wait as the refund gets credited to your account after some specific time.
