2. General Information About Travel
As a traveler, you must be aware of and comply with the legal requirements for travel. This includes carrying your passport, visa, other necessary documents, and health certificates. Ensuring you have all these documents and adhere to the relevant requirements is your responsibility.
Make sure to review the additional terms and conditions provided by third-party travel service providers for the services listed on our portal. Also, familiarize yourself with the terms and conditions of the airline you have booked. These are available on the airline's website, and by using our services or purchasing any product, you agree to these additional terms and conditions. These may cover aspects such as payment, check-in times, baggage, cancellations, charges, fare usage, and the applicability of fares.
If your flight booking includes flights operated by multiple airlines, you need to read the terms and conditions of each airline involved in your booking. Each airline has its own rules, fees, and policies, which are available on their respective websites. If a change in one flight affects another in your itinerary, you will be responsible for any additional costs required to make changes according to the policies of each airline. Each airline has the right to apply its charges and offer refunds according to its policies. It is highly recommended to have a hard copy of your tickets for both directions. Occasionally, you may be asked to present your return ticket at check-in, so booking round-trip flights with MyTripsTime can help avoid such issues.
Booking combined one-way tickets can offer more flexibility than round-trip tickets, as you can choose from a wider range of flights. This allows you to find cheaper options and add a second-way flight from the same airline to your itinerary. However, round-trip tickets require you to adhere to the rules and regulations for each leg of the journey separately. Changes to the first flight may necessitate changes to the second flight, and you will need to pay any applicable fees for alterations according to the airline's rules.
In some cases, the cost of a flight with a low-cost carrier may appear different when converted to your currency due to fluctuations in exchange rates. When paying with a credit card, the amount may vary because of these currency fluctuations, and additional transaction fees and taxes for international purchases may apply.
Federal laws prohibit carrying hazardous materials in your baggage. Violations can result in penalties of $250,000 or more and up to 5 years of imprisonment. Hazardous materials include explosives, flammable liquids, compressed gases and solids, oxidizers, poisons, corrosives, and radioactive materials, such as paints, fireworks, tear gases, oxygen bottles, lighter fluid, and radiopharmaceuticals. However, up to 70 ounces of medicinal or toiletry items are allowed, and certain smoking materials can also be carried.
3. Brief About International Travel
When traveling internationally, it is important to be aware of the Montreal Convention and Warsaw Convention, as they may apply to your journey, particularly at the points of departure or destination. These conventions often limit the liability of airlines in cases of passenger injury or death.
Passengers must ensure they meet all foreign entry requirements, which go beyond just passports and visas. It is recommended that anyone planning to travel internationally review the advisories, rules, warnings, prohibitions, and announcements issued by the government or authorities of their destination.
- Passport and Visa: As a traveler, it is crucial to double-check your passport and visa with the relevant embassy before your trip. Ensure you have a valid visa on your passport. MyTripsTime.com will not be responsible for situations arising from invalid or missing documents.
- Requirements can change, so verify them both before booking and prior to departure. We are not liable if you are refused entry into any country due to improper documentation, such as a passport, visa, or other travel or health-related papers. Airlines may have specific document requirements, which must be shown at every layover or stop.
- Health: Health requirements can frequently change, so it is advisable to consult your doctor before departure. If you have a serious medical condition, ensure you bring the necessary medications and vaccinations, and follow your doctor's guidelines.
- Practice of Disinsection: While not common, some countries reserve the right to disinsect flights, especially during health threats to the public, agriculture, or the environment. Both the World Health Organization and the International Civil Aviation Organization approve two disinsection procedures:
- Spraying aerosolized insecticide while passengers are on board.
- Applying residual insecticide to the aircraft's interior when passengers are not on board.
Each airport in different destinations has specific rules and conditions, such as entry regulations and vaccination requirements. These rules may vary based on the passenger's nationality. Ensure you gather this information before your journey to avoid issues related to missing documents. For minors, a birth certificate is required. It is your responsibility to obtain and verify this information.
WHILE MYTRIPSTIME.COM OFFERS RESERVATIONS AND FLIGHTS TO NUMEROUS INTERNATIONAL DESTINATIONS, THIS DOES NOT GUARANTEE THAT TRAVELING TO THESE PLACES IS SAFE OR FREE FROM PROBLEMS. WE DO NOT ASSURE THAT THERE WILL BE NO INCIDENTS OF DAMAGE OR LOSS ASSOCIATED WITH TRAVELING TO THESE DESTINATIONS.
4. General Account of Baggage Policy
Each carrier has its own policies regarding baggage allowances and fees, which can vary significantly between airlines. Additionally, airlines reserve the right to change their policies at any time. We strive to provide the most up-to-date information about baggage policies on our website, but we cannot guarantee that it reflects the latest changes, as airlines often update their policies without prior notice. Please note that baggage fees are not included in the ticket price and are charged separately.
5. General Account of Schedule Change
Flight schedule modifications can occur without prior notice and may include cancellations, delays, or unexpected stops. These changes can happen for various reasons, such as bad weather, technical or mechanical issues, or crew problems. Such alterations can occur at any time, even after you have checked in, whether online or offline. Schedule changes may also involve converting a direct non-stop flight into one with connections or multiple layovers. Please understand that all schedule changes are made directly by the airlines.
6. Cancelation of Flight Without Refund
MyTripsTime guarantees the lowest prices on their flight platform. However, canceling tickets and rebooking them for a future flight is subject to several limitations and additional costs. When exchanging a flight, you may need to pay more than the original ticket price. Additionally, options may be limited due to airline restrictions. The primary restrictions and limitations are as follows:
- All fares are eligible for rebooking in the future, but certain fare types or classes may have restrictions that prevent this.
- The original cost you paid is non-refundable and non-transferable between passengers.
- You must rebook the ticket with the same departure and destination locations as the original ticket.
- If the cost of your new flight is higher than the original, you must pay the difference in cash. If the new flight is less expensive, you may lose the remaining balance according to the airline's policy.
- You can only rebook a new ticket with the same airline as the original ticket.
- The previous ticket's fare and taxes are limited to the original portions when applying for the new ticket.
- The new booking or travel date must fall within the airline's validity period, which varies. Some airlines have a 12-month validity period, while others may have up to 24 months, depending on their policies.
Airlines reserve the right to cancel a scheduled flight departure for any reason. In such cases, you may risk losing the entire amount paid for your previous ticket. To rebook your ticket for a new flight, please contact a MyTripsTime customer care executive to assist you with the process.
7. Changes, Cancelations, & Refunds
All flight bookings are non-refundable unless specified otherwise by the airline in your order. The airline's policies determine your ability to cancel, change, book, and refund tickets. If you encounter any specific issues, please contact us for assistance. With many years of experience as a travel service provider, we are here to help.
When you have an airline ticket booking, even if your ticket is non-refundable, you should:
- You can receive a full refund for your ticket if you cancel within 24 hours of booking. However, if the airline permits this type of cancellation, applicable fees according to their policy may apply.
- In many cases, airlines do not provide refunds for canceled tickets but instead credit the amount towards a future ticket purchase by the same person with the same airline.
- Name Alteration: Changing names on a booking after it is completed is generally not allowed. If you need to change or correct the spelling of a name, you must cancel the original booking first. Check with the airline to see if they permit this; if they do, you can proceed to make a new booking with the correct name. It is crucial to ensure the spelling of the name on the flight ticket is correct before finalizing the booking. Double-check it to avoid any issues.
The approval of a refund request depends on the travel service provider and the regulations of the purchased tickets. If the refund request is approved, MyTripsTime cannot specify the timeline for when the refund will be processed and credited to your account.
Please note that any fees received by the airlines related to a booking are generally non-refundable. Understand that we rely on the travel service provider for the refund process. If your refund request is approved by the airlines or travel service provider, please be patient, as it may take some time for the refund to appear in your account.
8. Charges or Fees for Cancelations, Changes, & Refunds
If you wish to avail of any additional services from the travel service provider, you will need to pay a fixed fee. In addition to this fee, MyTripsTime will charge you the following fees for cancellations, changes, and refunds, as permitted by the terms and conditions. The fees charged by MyTripsTime are per passenger and per ticket, applied in the currency of the original booking, and are non-refundable.
